Drama As Jalang’o Is Barred From Azimio Retreat

Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has been barred from entering the Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos County, where an Azimio retreat is currently taking place.

The MP had just arrived at the venue when a group of men attempted to bar him from entering the hall.

Some of the men who tried to block Jalang’o could also be heard yelling at the MP to go to State House.

As his entourage attempted to force their way into the venue, a commotion ensued.

This prompted Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and his Suna East counterpart Junet Mohamed to intervene.

After Junet’s and Babu’s intervention, Jalang’o gained access to the venue.

Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio La Umoja coalition, and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka are among those attending the Azimio Parliamentary Group meeting.

Jalang’o was among ODM party members who met president William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua earlier in the week.

The MP defended his move to meet the head of state in State House Nairobi saying the meeting was for the good of his constituents.
