Drunk Cop Turns Gun On Colleague

A police officer has shot his colleague after an argument at a police station

According to a police report seen by Uzalendo News, Cpl. Joseph Muthunga opened fire on his fellow police officer Sgt. Ayub Polo using a G3 rifle.

The incident occurred at the Kedong Ranch AP camp, Nakuru county.

“According to fellow officers, the suspect came to the camp drunk and became angered after being questioned by the deceased why he was drunk and late yet he was expected to be on night duty.” The report read.

Detectives recovered five 7.62mm spent cartridges, while the G3 rifle was missing.

Police have launched a manhunt for the rogue officer.

The incident adds to tally the rising number of shooting incidents among police officers, that has led to loss of life and fatal injuries.
