Police Officers are investigating the death of a Dutch national at a flat in Shanzu, Mombasa County.
Herman Rouwenhorst’s body was discovered on Friday after police reacted to a distress call from a lady near the Serena Beach hotel.
Police discovered the lady, named as Riziki Cherono, securely bound to the steering wheel.
Riziki then took the cops to the Rocco flat, where they discovered Rouwenhorst on the bed, his wrists and legs tied with a rope. His lips was tied shut.
“They also discovered that a night guard at the Evans was wounded and unconscious,”
The corpse of the Dutch has subsequently been transported to Pandya Hospital Mortuary, where it will be autopsied.
