Eastleigh, Kawangware and Mombasa are the face of Covid 19 in Kenya. Mass testing results show that Eastleigh posted 5 new cases, Mombasa 19 and Kawangware 2.
During the Press briefing held by Health CAS Adan Mohammed confirmed 30 new cases, out of 853 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Out of the cases announced on Sunday, 23 are male while 7 are female, ranging from 4 to 64 years.
15 more recoveries and two deaths were announced, with both of the patients who died were from Mombasa county.
The CAS further urged Kenyans living around affected areas, to go for mass testing at designated centers.
“We are appealing to Kenyans in targeted areas such as Kawangware to come forward to be tested, if we want to flatten the curve,” the CAS said.

He further cautioned hotels, and mosques, who have been meeting secretly for prayers.
“Some eateries are operating without adhering to curfew and social distancing, Mosques have revised prayer time and opening at night…they must stop this practice immediately or legal action will be taken,”
The results put pressure for a complete lockdown over concerns that the disease was now fully entrenched in the community.
Already, movement into and out of Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Mandera and Nairobi counties have been stopped.
Mwingi now has recorded the second Coronavirus case, after a paramedic was diagnosed and quarantined last week.
