Eliud Kipchoge has teamed up with Nike to launch the ‘EK Umoja’ footwear and apparel range before of the Berlin Marathon on September 24.
According to nike.com, the gear collection consists of eight distinct pieces that sum up the World Champion’s legacy and philosophy.
‘Umoja’ means ‘unity’ in Swahili, and the collection honours the champion’s enormous impact on the running community.
Kipchoge described the collection as an example of collaborative work with the running community.
The Nike Alphafly 2, Nike Vaporfly 3, Nike Zoom Fly 5, Pegasus 40, and Nike Victory track spike are among the five Nike running footwear designs included in the collection.
The Nike Windrunner jacket, Nike Rise 365 tee, Nike Stride 7-inch short and a Nike Dri-FIT tee are all part of the gear range.
Nike stated that the collection will be available beginning August 31, 2023, at nike.com and select stores worldwide.
