Two people were killed and at least ten others were seriously injured after Eldoret Express Bus was involved in a road accident in the Muguga area of Kikuyu, Kiambu County.
Kikuyu Police Commander Ronald Kirui confirmed the Saturday morning accident, saying the 62-seater bus belonging to Eldoret Express Company collided with a fuel tanker that had stalled on the road around 5.30 a.m.
The bus was heading to Nairobi from Nakuru when the driver lost control and hit the truck from behind.
The injured were taken to various hospitals within Kikuyu area as investigations into the incident continue.
