Milimani Chief Magistrate Court has issued an arrest warrant against comedian Erick Omondi.
The new development came after the prosecution informed the court that Erick had deliberately absconded the court without sufficient explanation of his whereabouts for two consecutive court sessions.
The comedian was supposed to appear in court today for a hearing of a case where he is charged with taking part in unlawful assembly along the parliament road.
Omondi was charged alongside 17 others and it was alleged that on February 21 at Parliament Road they took part in an unlawful assembly.
They have so far denied the charge and are out on a cash bail of Ksh 10,000.
