Former president Uhuru Kenyatta, who is the facilitator of the EAC-led dialogue, has called on all the parties involved in the conflict in Eastern DRC, to give peace a chance for the sake of their children, themselves and country.
Speaking to the delegates representing the various warring groups attending the Third Inter-Congolese Dialogue, in Nairobi, H.E. Kenyatta said foreign armed groups must be stopped and sovereignty of DRC respected.
The dialogue is also attended by; Prof Serge – Special envoy to DRC President and Amb Macharia Kamau, Special envoy to facilitator of the EAC Nairobi process, MONUSCO reps and Forces Commander.
The process is expected to go up to the weekend.
