Residents in Ngando Area woke up to a sad morning when a classroom belonging to Precious Talent School, collapsed and caved in with students inside.
According to reports 4 people are feared dead, while several others are still trapped in the rubble.
A joint taskforce led by the Kenya police, the Kenya Redcross Society, Nairobi County and local residents, are assisting in resque efforts.
The injured have so far been rushed to nearby Kenyatta National Hospital.
Education Permanent Secretary, Dr. Belio Kipsang who is at the scene, will be expected to address the media.
