A man stabbed his wife to death in Gaitara village Gatukuyu in Gatundu North.
The motive for the murder has yet to be established, but residents claim the two were drinking illicit brew together.
The woman is a mother of two.
The suspect was arrested as the police took the body to general Kago Mortuary in Thika.
