Governor gifts mega water projects to Makueni residents

At least 2,000 residents of Kikumbulyu South, Makueni County have something to smile about this Christmas season, after three water projects were unveiled by the county government to ease access to clean water.

The three projects include Kevanda bore hole, Kwa-Nzeli Mutulu rock catchment and Koya earth dam.

The projects will besides providing clean water for domestic use spur income generating horticultural activities creating hundreds of jobs for young people.

The projects were commisioned by Devolution and Public Service county executive committee member Joshua Wambua and area MCA Jades Kalunda on Monday.
