Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. kicked off his Kee Ward development tour in Kivani, distributing tents and chairs to local groups.
During the visit, the Governor handed over 4 event tents (each with a 100-seat capacity) to four local social welfare groups made up of 1,315 members.

Additionally, 2 boda boda riders received their driving licenses, courtesy of the County Government of Makueni.
In his address, Governor Mutula reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the newly established Mbooni-Kee Municipality to enhance service delivery.
The Governor, who toured the nearby Kivani Dam, announced plans to expand the dam to improve water access for the community.
He also said the County will connect solar panels to boreholes in the Ward.
Kee Ward MCA Urbanus Manzu commended the Governor’s efforts, especially in extending electricity and water supply to residents of the Kivani-Kee sub-ward.
Majority Leader, Kisungi wa Katete, CECMs Nicholas Nzioka, Japheth Mang’oka, MCAs Kyalo Mumo, Tulimani, Bishop Jonathan Muthoka, Ilima, and Jackson Ndolo were among those who graced the event.
