A GSU commando is in custody in Mwingi after being disarmed by his 15 year old son.
The Constable allegedly dropped his loaded browning rifle with 15 rounds of ammunition as he tusled with his wife over domestic issues.
PC Sharack Munyao was wrestled to the ground by Christine Mutethya and disarmed. The wife and son then handed over the pistol to the OCS Mwingi Central Police Station.
The officer who is on leave was promptly arrested and handed over to his bosses at GSU headquarters.
Police are investigating why the officer was armed to the teeth, yet he was not on duty during the incident.
