A bus with 45 passengers on board burst into flames on Monday morning along Ahero-Kisumu road.
More than 40 passengers escaped unhurt when the Guardian Angel bus they were riding in burst into flames in the Buoye area on the Ahero-Kisumu road.
The incident occurred around 5.45 a.m. on the bus as it was traveling from Busia to Nairobi.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
According to Kisumu county police commander Alphonce Kimathi, there were no casualties reported.
