Guinea Bissau President Arrives In Kenya

Gen. Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau has arrived in the country for a three day State Visit.

The President was received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amb. Raychelle Omamo.

During His visit H.E Gen. Sissoco, will have bilateral talks with his host President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

The bilateral talks are  aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between Kenya and Guinea Bissau.

The visit will also offer opportunity for the two countries to seek further collaboration in various fields including Trade and Investment, Education, Health, Agriculture, Security, Transport, Maritime and Blue Economy, Innovations and Capacity Building among other spheres, for mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples, and in the pursuit of the common African Agenda.

He is set to inspect a guard of honour at the State House, usually preserved for visiting Heads of State.
