Guinea to provide free water, Electricity, No rent during COVID-19 period

The Guinean government has announced incentive packages aimed at making the country’s citizens comfortable as they observe a lockdown following the outbreak of COVID-19 in that country.

President Alpha Conde ordered the free supply of basic amenities such as water, electricity and, public transport in a bid to make life habitable during tough economic times of the coronavirus.

“Guinea has provided free electricity, free transport and free water for its citizens for the next three months.”

The stimulus package also directed Landlords to freeze rent payments until December 2020.
