President Ruto Condemns Hamas Attack On Israel Civilians

President William Ruto has criticized attacks on unarmed civilians in Israel by Palestine militia Hamas.

Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israel while dozens of fighters breached the border and invaded Israeli communities, killing dozens of civilians and taking others captive.

According to the President, the increasing number of civilian casualties is a violation of human rights.

“We call on all parties to respect the rights of civilians and honour their obligations under international law,” he told reporters.

The Head of State urged the international community to act quickly and hold terrorist offenders, supporters, and enablers accountable.

“Terrorism is serious threat to international peace and security,” warned the prime minister.

President Ruto encouraged both Israel and Palestine to avoid further military action.

He urged the two countries to work together to find a peaceful solution to the devastation and suffering of civilians.

“We reiterate our firm stand in solidarity with all those calling on the parties to desist from further attacks and promptly effect a cease-fire,” he said.

The President sent a message of condolences to the families of all victims and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
