A Fake job scammer has been charged with defrauding a man Ksh 65,000 pretending to help him secure a white-collar job abroad.
Hans Demo Orina was arraigned before Magistrate Bernard Ochoa at Milimani law courts where he faced charges of obtaining money by false pretense.
According to court documents, he conned Josephat Nduati Kimani Ksh 65,000 by falsely pretending that he was in a position to help him secure employment in Kuwait.
Mr. Kimani overwhelmed by the sweet deal and his desire to leave Africa gave out the said Cash to the “criminal”.
However, the suspect disappeared into thin air immediately after the said cash was channeled to his account.
The suspect nevertheless, denied the charges and was released on a bond of Ksh 100,000 with a cash bail of a similar amount.
This comes as many Kenyans continue to languish in foreign countries after years of hell in countries they hoped they would get heaven.
