According to The Times, England striker Harry Kane has chosen Manchester City as his preferred destination as he prepares to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the conclusion of the season.
After being persuaded to stay for another year last summer, the 27-year-old feels he has a verbal agreement with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to depart at the conclusion of the season.
Kane is said to have told Tottenham that he wants to leave this summer after getting disillusioned with the club’s lack of development.
“For sure, it’s a moment in my career where I have to kind of reflect and see where I’m at and have a good, honest conversation with the chairman (Daniel Levy). I’m sure that he’ll want to set out the plan of where he sees it, but ultimately it’s going to be down to me and how I feel and what’s going to be the best for me and my career at this moment in time.”
