A 40-year-old man was murdered and his body dumped in the River Awach in Rachuonyo North, Homa Bay County.
The body of the deceased, Elijah Bosire, of Kisii county, was recovered by police and moved to Kendu Bay Adventist Mortuary for postmortem.
The deceased, a farmhand, was reported missing on Sunday night.
According to Upper Kakwajuok Sub Location Assistant Chief Athanasio Onduto, the deceased was killed elsewhere and his body was dumped in the river.
Two suspects have been arrested and are being held at the Kendu Bay police station.
