Tales abound of how Kitui County MCA’s were wrestled to the ground by invincible forces as they prepared to impeach their Governor, Charity Kaluki Ngilu – By Henry Kimoli.
In politics, ghosts, voodoo, witchcraft and underworld manoeuvres has been the norm… (Not the new normal) in Kitui for a long time.
This leads us to the critical narrative: Were Kitui MCA’s seized by the famous ghosts of Kitui?
Or were they bewitched using the renowned and potent ‘kamuti‘, Or did Ngati, the invisible agent of confusion cross their path?
These are not far-fetched scenarios. Afterall Kitui hosts Nzambani rock, the only place in the world where one can change his gender overnight by going round it.
Uzalendo News went out to investigate what may have happened to the honourable MCAs who are now feigning ghost attacks as the reason they didnt impeach Ngilu.
Raila Odinga sanitiser
Charity Ngilu, the Kitui Governor and subject matter of the impeachment is very close to Baba.
Their political romance goes back to 1992 when both entered parliament-Raila as a young winger for Ford Kenya and Ngilu as the beautiful DP flower girl representing Kitui Central.
In 1997, both ran for the Presidency. analysts however say the duo were sponsored by then president Moi to dock the Kamba and Luo vote from the National kitty, to neutralise then opposition chief Mwai Kibaki.
As such they were viewed as surrogates of The former president in his desire to retain the presidency.
Ngilu was Raila’s Summit member during the chaotic 2007 elections.
Raila later appointed her to the water docket during the nusu Mkate government, when EACC circled her out for prosecution over procurement issues, Raila stood by her.
Uzalendo has established that many calls were made to Dubai from Kitui county in the last two weeks.
The calls may have been placed to plead for Ngilu’s cleansing, like Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru
So it was decided that the MCAs be allowed to entertain themselves…and even impeach the Governor.
Raila now has a majority stake in Senate. This is the theatre from which he cleans and sanitises his chosen few, using his relentless ‘sacred cows‘.
Raila is said to have called the bluff on the MCAs and their leadership…
And since majority of them voted for Baba in 2017, it was easy to convince them that they were wasting time…
Kalonzo Musyoka charm
The Wiper King is not a political pushover. He wants to be the main guy in Kenya’s next political dispensation…
He was already on the spotlight for unleashing MCA’s on Ngilu.
Most of the Ukambani MCAs belong to his party…he is said to have silenced them and warned them against ousting Ngilu, because the political consequences were unfathomable.
Besides, Kalonzo cannot live with the tag of having brought down the political career of a politician he fondly refers to as his sister…
The Uhuru Kenyatta connection
Ngilu received a multi-billion LPO to tailor pants and shirts for all Chiefs in Kenya.
The LPO is timeless…this means Ngilu is still useful to the deep state and the President himself.
As such, the Government, read the deep state was not keen on Ngilu’s impeachment.
And so bees were dispatched to inject poison into the political blood stream of the MCA’s leading to their scatter.
The Ruto factor
DP William Ruto is an angry man. He is waiting to hug any politician willing to call President Kenyatta names.
An impeached Ngilu will be too willing to soil Uhuru, and embrace Ruto for political vengeance.
