The football player Victor Wanyama has said that he is not yet done with Shakilla during a recent interview he clarified that it is not right for the teenager socialite to link him to prostitution. – By Stephanie Mwangi.
“What she said was not appropriate. I have worked so hard for many years to make my name and I have to protect that. I have to seek legal redress over this matter because I also have to protect my family name. I will not speak much about it because my lawyers are still handling it, said Victor.
Shakilla for the better part of 2020 has been trending for the wrong reasons. During a live interview session with Xtian Dela she claimed that she and the footballer got intimate in exchange for Ksh. 700,000. whereas prostitution is not allowed in Kenya.
Wanyama is one of the biggest Kenyan International players and he also got to play for Tottenham in 2018/2019 UEFA champion’s league final.
Victor has also captained the men’s national football team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Shakilla did apologize but she did so through a video on Instagram which many people saw it as a joke after she has tarnished names of prominent celebrities.
