A suspected drug dealer has been arraigned for being in possession of heroin.
Thomas Ndung’u Njau, who is believed to be an addict of hard drugs was arraigned in Court today and charged with being in possession of heroin contrary to the Psychotropic Act.
According to the prosecution’s submission, on March 28, 2022, Ndung’u was arrested along Latema road in possession of ten sachets of heroin valued at Ksh 5,000.
Mr. Ndung’u denied having been arrested with the drugs.
He proceeded to tell Magistrate Ondieki of Milimani Law Courts that the case at hand is framed against him.
Further, he submitted that he has sufficient evidence to prove the case is shambolic when the case proceeds to a full hearing.
However, the Court released him on a cash bail of Ksh 50,000.
