Inspector General Japhet Koome on Wednesday met the Senior Regional Security Officer for American Embassy in Kenya Mr Patrick Mills.
In a statement by the National Police Service (NPS), the two discussed the sustenance of the bilateral corporation between the National Police Service and the US Government on training under the US Anti-Terrorism Assistance programme.
“Their conversation centred on sustenance of the bilateral corporation between the National Police Service and the US Government on training under the US Anti- Terrorism Assistance programme.” NPS stated.
The IG also met with a delegation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China led by Senior Colonel Qui Yawei, a Defence attaché, on December 30, 2022.
The two discussed the strengthening of cooperation between police and the People’s Republic of China Police, according to the NPS’s official Twitter page.
