Jubilee Parliamentarians have been summoned to the Kenya International Convention Center over an alleged plot to oust the Party whip, Irungu Kang’ata in the senate.
According to senators who arrived at the venue, no agenda was communicated ahead of the meeting.
Murang’a Senator who is expected to champion Jubilee agendas on the floor of parliament has been at crosshairs with President Uhuru Kenyatta over a controversial letter.
The letter that underlined an alleged unpopular bid to popularize the BBI Document in Mount Kenya, was interpreted as a protest to Uhuru.
The leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto condemned the alleged plot to silence those who opposed the government’s agenda.
President Uhuru is expected to grace the meeting, however no communication has been confirmed on whether Ruto will attend thew meeting.
