Following a controversial removal from Jubilee, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka has made the seat occupied by nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura vacant.
This comes after the ruling party’s decision to withdraw the Nominated lawmaker from the party list due to indiscipline was upheld by the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal.
The tribunal concluded that the Senator was expelled in accordance with the party’s procedures, as well as with rules governing disciplinary hearings.
