Dennis Itumbi, DP William Ruto’s digital strategist, has pledged not to record a statement with the DCI following his strange abduction over a month ago.
Itumbi spoke on Sunday during a thanksgiving event at ACK Kitharani in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County and said that this would amount to wasted effort as justice would not be served.
“DCI, why are you demanding a statement from me? You should investigate yourself because as far as this case is concerned you are the criminal! Therefore, you should investigate yourself,” he said.
Itumbi, on the other hand, disclosed that on Tuesday he will gather hundreds of young people to accompany him to the Kiambu Road based office, where he will give video footage of the alleged crime and allow them to do anything they want with it.
The former State House digital strategist also reprimanded the DCI for arresting him after he blew the whistle on the purported DP Ruto assassination plot rather than addressing the source of the alleged crime.
Itumbi also criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying his legacy will be harmed if he fails to rise to the occasion and put an end to the despicable cruelty taking place under his administration.
He said that Uhuru’s government is responsible for breaking his hands and legs, and putting his loved ones into tears.
“Mr. President we have done a lot together but I shall not forget that your legacy was to try to drive me to the edge. I’m a seed, I cannot be buried, and I can only germinate.” he said
Nominated MP Cecily Mbarire echoed his remarks, saying that Kirinyaga and Mt Kenya as a whole will not support leaders being forced down their throats.
