Four people from the same family were killed and one injured in an accident on Namanga-Kajiado highway in Kajiado county on Monday.
Kajiado Central police boss Joseph Mutira said the four died after their vehicle slammed into a trailer at Maili Tisa area. Both vehicles were heading towards Namanga.
According to the police boss the accident was a result of speeding.
“We urge motorists to exercise caution on the roads even as we try to do our part,” he said.
The bodies were taken to the mortuary at Kajiado Referral Hospital.
