BY PRUDENCE WANZA – A Jetfly services company employee has been released on sh. 2m bond for stealing property worth Sh. 12m.
He is accused of robbery with violence where while armed with pangas he stole assorted mobile phones, mens’ boxers, maternity office dresses, water heaters, perfumes, 10 pieces of cocktail dresses, wrist watches, 24 stainless cutlery set, fridges and 40 pairs of men’s shoes valued at Sh. 3.6m.
He faces a second charge of stealing by servant where he as a Jetfly employee and as warehouse manager he allegedly stole mobile phones worth Sh. 9m.
On the third count he faces a charge of stealing from the office of one Pauline Wanjiru where he stole 2 laptops,a Television set, a gas cooker and a gas cylinder valued at Sh. 150,000.
The accused, Douglas Juma Ondiso, denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku at the Milimani Law Courts.
The case will be heard on 18th May, 2019.
