Police officers with assistance from the Anti-Terror Police Unit have arrested presidential aspirant Jimmy Wanjigi.
According to earlier reports, Wanjigi had locked himself in a bunker inside his office in Westlands.
The defiant aspirant was whisked away by officers and will spend the night at Kamukunji Police Station.
Wanjigi, a ruthless businessman has been involved in a vicious war with DCI George Kinoti.
He is said to have sued and convinced the court to jail the DCI over the confiscation of his guns and arsenal.
The Raila Odinga supporter turned critic has been warming up to Kalonzo Musyoka.
The Wiper leader had sensationally offered to mediate between Kinoti and Wanjigi.
In 2018, police barricaded his Muthaiga House to arrest the billionaire businessman and Presidential candidate.
It took the intervention of Raila to end the siege.
His latest trouble stem from the acquisition of the plot on which his house is constructed.
He is likely to be charged with the offense tomorrow.
