Nairobi Gubernatorial Candidate Johnston Sakaja commands an early win of the votes casted in Kasarani Constituency.
The UDA Gubernatorial Candidate in Nairobi County has all the reasons to smile after the majority of voters in Kasarani Constituency demonstrated their trust in his leadership by voting overwhelmingly in his favor in August 9, general elections.
The Nairobi senator had to endure the cumbersome judicial process in a bid to secure his candidature and save his political career after his nomination was highly challenged before the IEBC Disputes Resolution Tribunal and later to the High court.

The opposers of his nomination unsuccessfully questioned Sakaja’s credibility to vie for the Nairobi top Job arguing that his academic papers fails the legal and constitutional test in their enterity.
However, both the IEBC Disputes Resolution Tribunal and the High Court did pronounce themselves by stating that they lacked the prerequisite jurisdiction to quash Sakaja’s nomination on the basis of his degree saga hence allowing him to vie for the Nairobi County governorship.
