Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has launched a Covid-19 hospital at the Technical University of Mombasa as the county continues to record new infections – By Prudence Wanza.

According to the Governor the facility will serve as a treatment centre for Covid-19 patients as well as an isolation centre for health workers in the county.
The faculty is well equipped with all the required medication including oxygen for severe cases.
The ministry of health is also set to start mass testing in Mombasa.
Kenya has recorded 17 more positive cases of Coronavirus bringing the total number of infections to 320.
6 more patients have also recovered raising the tally of negative cases to 84.
