Romelu Lukaku is said to have apologized to Inter Milan after claiming that 23 out of 25 players suffered coronavirus symptoms in January.
Lukaku made his claims during an Instagram Live conversation with Belgian TV presenter Kat Kerkhofs on Tuesday.
However, Inter were stunned by the claims, particularly as they completed their games in January with virtually a full squad of players.
Inter are understood to have reprimanded Lukaku but sources have it that because the Belgian striker apologized, the matter is now regarded as closed.
