Hassan Joho’s wife has filed for divorce in Kadhi’s Court, claiming that there is no chance of reconciliation.
Joho’s second wife, Madina Giovanni Fazzini, said the court in a Mombasa affidavit that the Governor walked out of their matrimonial house in 2013 and abandoned her with their two children following their 2011 marriage.
In January 2013, Joho and Fazzini divided living quarters, but the Governor left the married residence in June 2013.
Since then, the petitioner said “the substance of our marriage has been dissipated and has no basis be sustained from a league and/or social standpoint.”
Fazzini said she stayed in the matrimonial house alone until 2020, when she decided to leave.
