Sierra Leone President Arrives In Kenya For Madaraka Day

Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maanda Boi is in the country ahead of this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations, which he will be the Chief Guest at on Wednesday.

President Bio arrived late Saturday night, and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo welcomed him. He’ll be in the country for five days.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he will meet with his host President Kenyatta for bilateral talks during his visit.

Today (May 29), President Bio will attend the International Day of UN Peacekeepers at the International Peace Support Centre in Embakasi.

He arrived escorted by CS Omamo, Chief Of Defense Forces Robert Kibochi, and other guests during the event.
