Learners joining junior Secondary Schools in the country have expressed their excitement after being the first ever class under CBC to join grade seven.

In Machakos County, Milami primary school in Joska, said they are up to the task as they enjoy another transition in their education.

However, private schools in the country are still in limbo regarding the fee structure for JSS.

The government declared that public school students would be charged 14,000 shillings in school fees.

According to Michael Otaro, the director feels that parents should be left to purchase uniforms outside the school.

Milami school has already enrolled thirty learners for grade seven in the second day of nationwide enrollment and admission of JSS learners.
