Justina: Wajackoyah Wants To ‘Uproot’ Me

Wamae, on the other hand, stated that she is still waiting for her formal dismissal from the party.

Justina Wamae, the Roots Party presidential running mate, claims that her principal, George Wajackoyah, intends to kick her out of the party.

Wamae’s claims came just a day after the party’s leader named his new deputy.

Wajackoyah announced on Tuesday that Yagnik Vinod Ramji is the new deputy leader of the Roots party.

“Akufukuzae hakwambii toka,” Wamae said on Wednesday during a phone interview.

According to Wamae, Ramji was the party’s chief agent during the election.

“So, I wasn’t wrong when I said there was no need to go to court since Roots party and more so, his friend, who is the appointed deputy leader accepted the presidential results on behalf of the party,” she said.

Wamae, on the other hand, stated that she is still waiting for her formal dismissal from the party.

“Now that he has done it in public, I am still awaiting my dismissal letter. The bottom line, amefanya vile tulisema on Friday,” she said.

Ramji’s appointment comes just days after Wajackoyah and Wamae fell out over allegations that she was misrepresenting the party’s position.

In an advertisement, the party also named Naran Velji Arjan as CEO and Janet Akinyi Odhiambo as deputy national chairperson.

The changes, according to the party, are the result of a resolution passed by the National Executive Committee at a meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Karen.
