Kabete fugitive pleads guilty, fined Ksh 2,200

A man who had escaped from Kabete police station has been in charged in court.

The suspect identified as Moses Litondo Lwangu had been accused of being in possession of half roll of bhang.

It was said that the accused was arrested by law enforcers on January 26th along Musa Gitau road in Dagoretti constituency.

Moses was taken to Kabete police station cells where he escaped after recording his statement.

He was pursued by corporal Otieno and later re-arrested.

Mr. Lwangu pleaded guilty as charged before Chief Magistrate Joyce Gandani and was fined 2,200 or alternative imprisonment of two months.
