Kahawa Law Courts have issued a landmark ruling in connection to the four police officers accused of abducting two Indians and their driver.
Senior Principal Magistrate Diana Mochache at Kahawa Law Courts revoked various decided case laws blocking the Internal Affairs Unit of Police from commencing investigations of police officers accused of Extrajudicial killings.
In her ruling, the learned magistrate ruled that she was not convinced that indeed IAU did not have the capacity to proceed with investigations against any police officer.
The ruling is expected to drastically change the future of prosecution proceedings in similar matters in future.
