Kalembe Ndile’s wife, Magdalene Nguluku Dies In Hospital

Makueni County is mourning the death of former assistant minister Kalembe Ndile’s wife, Mrs Magdalene Kamene Nguluku.

Hon. Kalembe, a Maendeleo Chap Chap party nominee for the Makueni County Assembly, died early this morning at the MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi.

The news of her untimely death spread like wildfire throughout the county, with residents of her Mbui Nzau rural home struggling to come to terms with her passing.

According to her first-born daughter, Christine alias Mbilii, their mother died between 2 and 3 a.m.

Ukambani leaders have mourned her death

Tourism CS Alfred Mutua, Makueni Speaker Douglas Mbilu, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse are among those who eulogized the late Hon. Kalembe as a hardworking and devoted representative.

Kalembe Ndile, who served as the Member of Parliament for Kibwezi from 2002 to 2007, died in 2021.

Ndile was born in Western Uganda in 1964, which is where he got the nickname Kalembe.
