Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka expressed his displeasure with his ANC colleague Musalia Mudavadi’s decision to collaborate with Deputy President William Ruto.
Kalonzo told Mwingi locals on the banks of the Enziu River during the opening of bridge construction work that he and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi had attended the ANC’s National Delegates Congress in good faith but were unaware that the deputy president would be there.
The Wiper leader claimed that his conscience would not allow him to continue, so he stormed out of the meeting.
Kalonzo, who appeared to be hurt by his One Kenya Alliance (OKA) partner’s apparent treachery, asserted that his bid for State House ‘was on track.’
“People expected me to sit there? I could not sit in that meeting actually I caused the real earthquake when I walked out,” he said.
Kalonzo, was joined by MPs Gideon Mulyungi (Mwingi Central), Charles Nguna (Mwingi West), Irene Kasalu (Women Rep), Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, and former Kitui Governor Julius Malombe.
The leaders urged locals to take up their vote and make sure Kalonzo becomes President.
