Police officers have launched a hunt for house help, who allegedly robbed her employer’s cash and jewellery while she was at work.
According to a report seen by Uzalendo News, the woman said she came home and found the 45-year-old househelp, identified as Miriam Muile Muinde, missing.
Cash amounting to Ksh. 4 Million was confirmed to have been stolen, alongside her jewellery collection, which was worth Ksh. 500,000.
Police officers visited the scene and confirmed the incident. According to DCI detectives, the suspect was last traced at Rongai, in Kajiado county.
Cases of househelps sweeping valuables clean from their employers are on the rise.
