Police Recover 22 Guns, 565 Bullets From An Auctioned Kilimani Apartment

His armory cum office was found with 22 assorted guns and more than 500 bullets.

The man behind an armory that has been operating without license is expected in court on Thursday, June 23, in the morning.

He was taken by detectives from the DCI Anti-terror police unit (ATPU) after he surrendered to the police at Kilimani police station for grilling after his armory cum office was found with 22 assorted guns and more than 500 bullets.

Ken Wycliff Okello Lugwili, the proprietor of Vic. Technologies Limited, had for a long time failed to pay his monthly rent prompting the landlord, Ballon Wanjala Nangalama, to seek a court order allowing him to break into the premises.

Lugwili, aka General DeFao, is also a licensed arms dealer through Vic Technology Systems Ltd.

Police plan to ask courts to detain him for longer time to allow them conduct further probe on his past activities.
