A man was stabbed and killed during a robbery incident near Kasarani stadium in Nairobi.
The victim identified as John Waweru was in the company of his friend when they were confronted by a gang that was armed with knives.
The friend managed to flee to safety, leaving Waweru in the hands of the gang as they struggled.
The thugs stabbed him in the chest and stomach before robbing him of his cash and mobile phone.
Police say the gang escaped toward Lucky Summer soon after the robbery.
The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, and no arrests have been made thus far.
According to police, a hunt on the gang is ongoing.
