The National Assembly has invited the public to comment on potential irregularities in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Exam.
Kenyans reacted negatively to the results announced by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on January 20, with some accusing dishonesty.
This came after certain regions’ schools delivered what were regarded to be exceptional results.
Nyambaria and Mobamba high schools in Nyamira County, for example, saw all 488 and 388 students, respectively, meet the C+ minimum university entry standard.
Mobimba obtained a mean score of 5.11 in 2021, which it increased to 9.28 in the exam last year.
