KDF locks out dual citizens in recruitment, seeks out Deep sea photo experts

BY PRUDENCE WANZA – The Kenya Defence Forces(KDF) has announced major recruitment of servicemen and women countrywide scheduled for November and December.

Those to be recruited are General Service Cadets who upon graduation assume the rank of Lieutenants.

To qualify, one must be a Kenyan Citizen with no dual citizenship.
KDF jobs are highly coveted countrywide due to the aura of the assignments.


To be recruited as a cadet, one must have posted a grade of B plain and must have obtained a C plus grade in English and Mathematics. While to be enlisted as Servicemen and women, one must have posted a minimum of D plain.

Overall, there are 24 categories up for grabs including slots for journalists, public health officers, Imams, Music specialists, forensic experts, Oceanographers and Dockmasters.
