Four Arrested Over Keagan Githua Murder

Githua was stabbed to death on October 30 in Ridgeways, Kiambu county, by robbers on a motorcycle.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested four people in connection with the death of Keagan Githua.

Githua was stabbed to death on October 30 in Ridgeways, Kiambu county, by robbers on a motorcycle.

DCI said in a statement that the first suspect was apprehended at a city toilet on River Road in the Central Business District (CBD).

They then proceeded to Githurai, where they apprehended three additional suspects and recovered a phone stolen from Githua.

“DCI-Starehe detectives mounted a dawn operation that began at a city toilet along River Road, where they pounced on the first suspect before heading to Githurai, where the rest were arrested, and the deceased’s smartphone was recovered.” reads the statement.

This follows a detailed examination of the gang’s modus operandi by sleuths from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau, who discovered that the gang operates from Githurai area.

Keagan had recently graduated from Strathmore University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
