KENHA Blames Erratic Drivers For Expressway Accidents

The Kenya National Highway Authority has blamed drivers For two recent accidents on the new Nairobi Expressway.

The grisly accidents have so far claimed one life.

Planning Director Samuel Omer says the two accidents were due to the behavior of drivers speeding cars at toll stations.

The first accident in the Mlolongo area resulted in the death of one person while the second occurred at Westlands station.

Omer says they plan to put ridges on the road to prevent speeding while urging drivers to be vigilant.

Apart from that, KenHA says plans are in place to increase the CBD exit from the road that was not in its plans during construction.
