The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has cautioned motorists plying the Chemelil – Muhoroni Road, located 2.5 kilometers from Chemelil, after it was rendered impassable due to heavy rainfall from last night.
According to KeNHA, this has disrupted traffic between Chemelil and Muhoroni.
The Authority said it was diligently working to restore normalcy.
“In the mean time motorists are advised to use the following detours: Those travelling from Chemelil to Muhoroni could go through Chemelil- Awasi- Kipsitet- Muhoroni and those from Muhoroni to Chemelil could use the Muhoroni- Kipsitet- Awasi- Chemelil route,” the authority advised.
