The mega-deal was struck by the VINCI Consortium of France to finance the building of the 633-kilometer segment.

The Nakuru to Mau Summit road includes the concession agreement.

The building of a 4-kilometer viaduct (elevated roadway) across Nakuru Town, as well as the construction and upgrade of interchanges along the route, are among the projects.

The massive project will improve cargo traffic in the Northern corridor to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda.
